The Prime Minister (PM in short) of UK is responsible for the policy and decisions of the government. As the Prime Minister is the leader of the UK government the other duties of the PM include overseeing the operations of the civil services and government agencies, choosing members of the government and also showing accountability and transparency of the execution and implementation of the laws.

10 Downing Street in London is the official residence and the office of the British Prime Minister. The Prime Minister establishes and communicates the governments overall strategies and policies for the welfare of the people to the Parliament and also represents the country at various summits and conferences.

The Prime Minister is the leader of the party that wins the most seats at the general election of United Kingdom. After the general election the constitutional monarch of UK calls upon the leader of the party that won most seats to form the government and on taking over the governance the responsibilities and the work is taken up by the Prime Minister to make UK progress in every areas.
